OOC RULES
- This is a drama-free zone. We understand that conflicts do happen, but those need to be brought to staff or taken off of the site. Mixing of IC / OOC opinions is not allowed.
- No powerplaying or godmodding.
- You must post your character’s bio in the character catalogue before you begin playing them. There isn’t really a limit as to how long or short they must be, but they must be thorough enough that staff can judge the character as within rules.
- Please put trigger warnings when dealing with heavy subjects!
- Mini-modding or undermining of any staff member is not allowed.
- No discrimination is allowed on this site, whether that is based on race, gender, sexuality, political opinion, religion, or otherwise. LGBT characters are very allowed!
- We have a posting requirement of at least 100 words per post, this is to make sure that all members at least get a solid paragraph in response.
- Please stay within the 212 rating! if you need an explanation for it, click on the icon above!
- We have a 100 word wordcount for our IC posts. Please try your best to meet this. The occasional slip up is totally fine, but try your best to meet it every post.
- There aren’t any activity requirements for warriors, apprentices, queens, kits and elders. However, Leaders, Deputies, Medicine Cats, and any other high position is required to post at least twice a week. If this is not met two weeks in a row without an activity notice or an explanation to staff (e.g. there aren’t threads to post in), the leader is obligated to demote them. If the leader does not make these requirements, StarClan will step in to find another candidate. Leaders must also create a meeting every three weeks at the very least.
- You may not play more than one high position in a clan, with the exception of being a medicine cat and another character later being promoted to deputy. However, playing a leader and a deputy in one clan is not allowed.
- The warrior code is in place. This is allowed to be broken (sometimes encouraged), but if you choose for your character to break it, you must submit to the IC consequences.
- The topic of sexual assault is not allowed to be roleplayed.
- Other dark topics (such as abuse) are allowed as long as you can acknowledge that your character is a terrible person and you do not try to excuse it
- Sexual content is to be kept to the bare minimum. Fade-ins and -outs if you must have it happen during a thread, but this is discouraged.
- Characters must be realistic. They are cats after all, and they must act like it, despite the anthropomorphization.
- Leaders are not required to auto-accept characters when joining. They may close joining off to whatever parties they like, be that kittypets, loners, rogues, other clans (or just certain clans), or all of the above.
