It wasn't a surprise, but not a disappointment either. In fact, he might have called it something like "pieces falling into place". It was simply an event that happened, but not one that constituted celebration. Not yet, at least.
Maplegaze smiled slightly as eyes turned to him, and gave his leader a polite bow of his head. "I shall," he said in a calm, collected tone. "I will be proud to serve my clan further by your side, Slatestar."
